Summer Reading Information

"Reading can be one of the many fun activities children fill their summer time with. Research has shown it is also much more! Children who participate in public library summer reading programs not only avoid the “summer slide” in learning, but also score higher on reading achievement tests than those who do not participate" (from Association for Library Service to Children website).

2014 Virtual Summer School

The Richmond County School System is proud to announce the offering of Virtual Summer School 2014.  The Virtual Summer School will launch on May 25th for all Richmond County K-8 students and end on August 2, 2014.  There is no cost to participate in the program.  Please click here for more info and for the websites and passwords for the program.
